Cars and puppy poop....

I have two kids....an 8 year old and a 2 year and they are both very LOUD, very FUN, very CURIOUS children! Its just been one of those mornings, ya know? When the kids are just pushing your buttons.......

Right now....said 8-year-old is asking me (yes while I am busy typing and ignoring her) why so many people on our block do not have cars sitting in the driveway at the moment....strange question, yes! This is followed immediately by...(as she is making her way down the street with her pointer finger "Don't have a car" "Don't have a car" "Don't have a car" "Have a car" "Don't have a car" "Don't have a car" "Have a bike...does that count?" "Mom, does a bike count as a car?" and so on.....

Earlier today.....
"Mom, you wanna hear a song?"
"Sure honey"
(insert the National Anthem as loudly as you can hear)
but it doesn't end.....there is no ending to this song. It continues...on and on it goes....on and on she sings getting more and more opera-like and loud...until finally I hear the neighbor giggle! Yes....our windows are open!

All the while...the two year old is trying to stick a rock in the dogs behind.
"What are you doing honey?"
to which he replies.....
"POOP"
yes...my son was convinced that this small dark rock was the dog's POOP and that he should be the one to put the poop back in his butt (I guess that is what he was trying to do! Poor dog! Glad I caught him!!!)


Did I mention I love my kids....oh yeah, I do! A ton and a half! But there are just some days that I have to shake my head and laugh!
