Shoes make the woman. Give us an insight into your closet. Your shoes closet that is.

Well, I am a shoe person...and a purse, jewelry, and clothes person...I am a shopping person...so my closet is packed!!!!

Let's see... my shoe closet...
~5 pairs of named brand tennis shoes...I am a runner and have terrible problems with shin splints and pains in my knees, so I have to buy these ridiculously expensive shoes for the sole (no pun intended) purpose of ruining them by running on dirty paths and rainy days. I wish they had quality running shoes for cheap, but no such luck!!!
~High heeled boots!!! I have brown, black, pointy toes, square toed, stilleto heeled, wide healed, zip up, tie up, etc....they can be tall, short, or in between. These are my favorite!!! I wear them with jeans, skirts, or just about anything else!!!
~Flip flops- come on now, they are like $2 a pair...you could own 50 pairs and not break your budget!!! I am not sure how many pairs I have...I lost count!
~Backless shoes- these are made for moms!!! Any type of shoe that you can easily slip on while holding your 20 pound pursue on your shoulder, a diaper bag on the other shoulder, cup of coffee and keys in one hand and your child in the other are too perfect!!! I own about 5-6 different slip on shoes!
~Dr. Martins- ok, they aren't so much my style anymore, but I used to work somewhere that sold them, so I own them. I still wear them (boots and sandals) but they sometimes can collect dust for a while in between wearings!
~Slippers- ones that look like bear claws, one that look like leopard print, hot pink ones with fabric flowers on them, ones that look like sock monkeys...you get the idea...when you have hard wood floors, these are a MUST!!
~Dressy shoes that kill your feet and are impossible to walk in...well, I have only a few pairs of these because I am not the most coordinated person in the world and I tend to fall off the sides of my heals (unless they are boots) when I wear them, so they are reserved for only occasional use
~Yoga shoes- no I don't do Yoga, but those awesome little velcro strap thin shoes are great for stepping outside onto the porch, or just a quick walk around the block!

Wow! What an assortment. Maybe you could line them up for a photo op and do a scrapbook page of them! I just realized that I don't own a pair of flip flops (I did when I was a teenager but not now). Hmmm, I think I'll have to go get me a pair!

Man, that is one impressive, well-described collection of footwear.

Dr. Martens last forever...they'll come back around in fashion.

What an amazing collection you have. All those boots sound good to me. I would love to be able to wear boots that go over the calf but my calfs are too big.

We'll just call you Imelda from now on shall we? LOL!
I have to agree boots are the best - biggest confidence booster in the world.
I think a LO is required. Perhaps a shoe inspired kit too.

You could start your own shoe store by the sounds of it, LOL. I have never seen Yoga shoes. I'm off to locate some, they sound heavenly.
