Oh boy, Nicole, do I know where you're coming from. Last Friday *MY* husband called to tell me that, to avoid more layoffs, his company instituted graduated pay cuts. He fell in the 10% range. It's getting really tight around here with 2 growing boys, summer camps and birthdays coming up, not to mention our planned vacation. Most of that is going to get cut - or cut back - I'm sure.

Thanks for the freebie. BTW, my family inspires me. Have a great weekend.

Thanks for the vintage freebie...my problem isn't being inspired to scrap, it's finding the time :-) Hoping to have some time shake loose in a month or so.

Thank you for this wonderful kit. You are such a sweetie. Sorry about your hubby's pay loss. Things have a way of working themselves out. Right now my husband isn't working at all and it's pretty scary business around here. My only solace is getting lost in scapland. Thank you so much and leaving you some love.

I think we can all sympathize, I hope everything works out. My kids and family and vacations inspire me. I digital scrapbook because its a way to preserve memories. I am such a forgetful person that its my way to keep a journal. My family, computer, and teaching history inspire me. Right now its kids for sure.

I have the longest list of things to scrapbook. I started with the now and am both doing what pics I take each month in addition to working backward and doing old pictures. I have almost finished 2008 and part of 2007. And I keep up on 2009. Just a few that I do not know what to do with.

Super hero costumes
dressing up in mommy's cloths (I don't really like anything out there for sale)
Mickey Mouse inspired stuff (We go to Disneyworld a lot - I mean lots)

And at the risk of sounding gushy - I just love the teddy bear and cloud Zs from last week's Caf-E challenge. They are just the cutest and I plan to use them lots.

I understand Nicole. My husband got laid off February 28th after almost 10 years. You are totally right, God will provide!

Thanks for the beautiful freebie, and hugs from the heart,
Jeanette

Thanks for another awesome freebie. I love your work. So sorry to hear about your DH's wage cut.

You asked what inspired me to scrap. There are a lot of reasons why I scrap, it releases the creativity in me like nothing else can. It is not a matter of wanting to scrap but a need to do it. I guess you could say that for me it is my form of art and expression. The main thing that inspires me are my little granddaughters and my grown children. I hope that though my scraping that they see themselves when they were young as I saw them as well as know how much they are loved by me. I have not scrapped a story book for my DGDs with them as the main character, I got started with my oldest but need to get back to it. I still want to scrap my ancestors for future generations as well. For ideas, I would love to see a kit based on a Mary Poppins theme idea. My oldest DGD loves the movie.

Thanks again
Janet
